Ingredients are for making Baahor chungar Maach
- Boneless Fish: 1. Kg Medium ( River fresh fish ).
- Bamboo hollow: 2 pice.
- Banana leaves: 2 big.
- Green Chilies (Chopped) : 6 to 8 Pice.
- Ginger (Grated) : 2 tsp.
- Coriander leaves (Chopped ) : 1 tbsp.
- Salt: according to taste.
- Mustard oil : 5 tbsp.
- Onion ( chopped ) : 3 Big Size. for Garnishing.
Here is the Simple Method to Making Baahor chungar Maach
Make Pieces of the boneless fish Medium or Large according to your Bamboo Hole.
Clean the bamboo hole Well.
Clean the banana leaves and make pliable by passing it upon fire.
Now your bamboo hole is ready for cooking your fish.
Next Step you can take a bowl and add Boneless Fish, chopped chilies, Grated Ginger, Salt and Chopped Coriander and mix it very well. Mix well and fill in to the 2 bamboo hole. Seal the bamboo hole using the banana leaves. Put the bamboo on fire. and rotate it time to time. after 30 to 45 mint your Baahor chungar Maach will be ready.
When it is ready remove from fire and slit open the bamboo hole. Garnish with mustard oil and chopped online in Plate. Enjoy Assamese Traditional meal in this Bihu. if you like this post please Share and comment bellow.
